really? Six!!!!

Well, I came from no where. That seems to be the place that things I don't expect come from. But believe it or not we've been married for over six months!!!!!!!! Live and don't learn has been the modo that my mind has enforced upon me over the last 28 years. But I do believe that I haved learned quite a bit lately and would like to share some of them with you.
1. I love making lists like this.
2. Opposite day...It's not real. Kind of a bummer for most of us but, well I'm sorry. Opposite sentance meaning moment however is very real. For instance. "It's not important." really means "It's not important if unless you want a happy marriage. Or "You don't have to if you don't want to." translated, "Get it done or I will put cayane pepper in your britches." So the kids have it mostly right about opposite day...Just not completly.
2a I can't wait to pass this along to my kids at an early date so they will look smarter to the adults than other kids.
3. A husband should never let his wife go without flowers. A wife should never ask her husband when or, most importantly, how he got them.
4. Erin has a super sense of smell, and of being cool at the coolest moment. But let's talk about the smell one for it has led me to my latest maxim, "it is better to smell good and look bad than to look good and smell bad. Luckily I went to Costco and bought a case of Stetson, now I never have that problem
5. I love my wife more than anything. She in turn loves the fact that she can put her cold feet on me to get them warm. She also loves the fact that I've learned to treat my frostbite when she does without too much complaint
6. A 28 year wait was a inestimably small investment for the unbelievable returns that I've already gotten.

That's very tender Spence! Jethro knows the frozen foot thing well. I think last night was the first night in our 2 year+ marriage that I didn't have to unfreeze my feet on him, they were sunburned and already glowing.
