I woke up this morning and had a thought...what am I thankful for this year? Every year? Then it dawned on me sweet and clear. Just like when Johnny 5 realized that he is alive! Fire and passion has been running through my veins ever since. I just need to tell everyone what I'm thankful for and then elaborate so you can feel it too!
I'm thankful that I'm in your life so you have so much to be thankful for. For that you are all freely and openly welcome! Here are some reasons that I'm thankful that you can be so thankful not to have someone like me, but the actual me, in your life. When you read this just please read it as if I'm only talking to you! It will be so much more meaningful that way.
1) I don't blog a lot. That in turn frees you up to spend more time with your own family. I'd like to think that I've kept more than one marriage around simply by not, my decision, blogging and taking your time. You're welcome.
2) I predicted Pluto would lose it's planet status long before it happened. This in turn allowed me to break it to you easily and over time. Saving you from the enormous blow that could have been. Statistics show that Americas productivity was cut by 72% the day Pluto was downgraded. Just remember you were saved by me...
3) My origami swans have always lightened your darkest days...
4) I'm raising Eli in a way that I can promise he will cure cancer, turn your kids into heroes and finally bringing a Robocop / Turner and Hootch hybrid movie to the big screen. And no it will not be called RoboHootch.
5. I always say the right thing at the right time. Or even the wrong thing at the right time, which in turn still makes it the right thing to say. Either way you're welcome.
6. I'll cut your hair for tips only. A color and perm however is 10.00 dollars
7. I know where to get ham sauce, and yes, I will tell you where it can be purchased.
8. I intentionally dumb myself down whenever I'm around you so that you always feel like the smartest person in the room. Sure that's what I'm doing... At least that's what I tell myself...
9. The twinkle in my eye once twinkled so bright it brought sight to a blind boy. And you thought it was only used for extra charm. Well you're extra welcome this year!
10. I'm doing this year what everyone has wanted but has been a little timid in doing....bring capes back into fashion.
