Had to be done

this has nothing whatsoever to do with the fillmores. Except that spencer and the video guy had the same haircut for a long time. I just had to post it.

what a dream

I don't mean to post too much but I just had to share this. I had the best dream last night. It started w/ me and Ryan, Jethro, Erin and some guy from my work. We were at a house in S W Provo with tons of land. We got there then we started to play b-ball and then for whatever reason too many people came and everyone but me went to work there. But there was like an old fashion Noni call center. Kris was there and every thing. I started walking around and noticed that the boss was Erin's nasty old lady boss. I went in the house and she picked up a banjo and called to me that we needed to talk. I didn't want to talk and ran out of the house with her chasing and screaming that we needed to have a meaningful talk. For whatever reason that is when I decided that it would be best to take off my shirt. And this is where the dream gets great...and not just for the ladies. I started running and I couldn't get my shirt off and it was mostly stuck over my head. I tried to run one way and then decided that there were too many cars so I took off down this dirt country lane. It was down hill so I thought I don't have to run far and it's easy. But then I started running so fast that I was afraid I would hit people. Then I was running even faster. I jumping and avoiding cars and bikers kind of using the same motion that you would use in Pole Position. That's when the narator of my story came. He said "And that very moment Spencer started running so fast that he started to see things as the cartoons saw them. And as the animals lived in." Ever color became so vivid and bright It was the best. I eventually jumped over a waterfall. Great dream.

If I can only remember where I planted this...

Today's post I hope can actually be seen. Who knows these days. My last post, I surmise, has entered a worm hole and is currently in a bizzarro world.

I dedicate this post, since I do not blog, to money, particullarly what I would do with it.

1 I would find the cure for cancer...and then sell the cure for more money. But only so I could find the cure for AIDS. Does that make me a bad person or not? I like to think that the two even themselves out. Like putting chocolate in milk. Milk is healthy and chocolate no so much. So they cancel eachother.

2. I would buy a ranch. Just think that I would like that.

3. I would hire a scribe. And he would just follow me around all day and write whatever I said. And complement me for my cleverness. And I would hope that he would know some kinda dirty jokes to tell when no one else is listening. I LOVE jokes about mud and not bathing.

4. I would travel to the future.

5. I would build my masher truck. All it is is super reinforced steel and all it does is run jerks off the road. I get all warm and fuzzy just thinking of that kind of justice.

6. I would run away and join the circus....wait that's what I'd do if I didn't have any money. that will be # 9 of next weeks list

7. I would give father Bill 1 million dollars if he would grow out muttonchops for the rest of his life and greet everyone with an "ellow governor!"

8. I would let Erin do whatever she wants...Hoping that that means we buy a winnibago and never stop cruising america.

9. I would buy Jethro a suit. A promise is a promise

10. I would spend whatever it took to finally realize the last great American truimph over the rest of world, sans Burma/Nianmar, I would abolish the metric system. How I hate it.

If you all have any other suggestions let me know

PS life is all good and my wife is so fine!!

really? Six!!!!

Well, I came from no where. That seems to be the place that things I don't expect come from. But believe it or not we've been married for over six months!!!!!!!! Live and don't learn has been the modo that my mind has enforced upon me over the last 28 years. But I do believe that I haved learned quite a bit lately and would like to share some of them with you.
1. I love making lists like this.
2. Opposite day...It's not real. Kind of a bummer for most of us but, well I'm sorry. Opposite sentance meaning moment however is very real. For instance. "It's not important." really means "It's not important if unless you want a happy marriage. Or "You don't have to if you don't want to." translated, "Get it done or I will put cayane pepper in your britches." So the kids have it mostly right about opposite day...Just not completly.
2a I can't wait to pass this along to my kids at an early date so they will look smarter to the adults than other kids.
3. A husband should never let his wife go without flowers. A wife should never ask her husband when or, most importantly, how he got them.
4. Erin has a super sense of smell, and of being cool at the coolest moment. But let's talk about the smell one for it has led me to my latest maxim, "it is better to smell good and look bad than to look good and smell bad. Luckily I went to Costco and bought a case of Stetson, now I never have that problem
5. I love my wife more than anything. She in turn loves the fact that she can put her cold feet on me to get them warm. She also loves the fact that I've learned to treat my frostbite when she does without too much complaint
6. A 28 year wait was a inestimably small investment for the unbelievable returns that I've already gotten.
