I went away, and none knew if I would return

I am home. Some thought that I wouldn't be able to handle the 5 hour drive and that I would give and live a life of knick-knack peddling somewhere off of I-70. Well, since I got married I realized that I have to toughen up. I went on a fishing trip w/ my Brothers, even Ben came down from Oregon, to Colorado. This trip was special because, as many of you may or may not know, I was born in Colorady! This was my trip back since I was around 4 months. I'm not going to lie, I expected more progress. Though they were holding something called the Poo Festival in one of their towns. It was fun. I caught my first fish in about 5 years. It is so much easier to catch them w/ a hook than your bare hands. The best part was that my brother Ben thought that he had lost the keys to my cousins van. We searched for about 5 hours and never found them. Found a ride back to town. Had my cousin's wife come and bring more keys. That took her around an hour. We ended up hanging out at the holiday inn. Where we got a room, used their bathroom and then took our money back. Later we ordered pizza to their lobby. They weren't too happy about that. Good news is that my dad had the keys in his front pocket all the time. Don't know why he didn't check there after everyone was told around 10 times to check your pockets. Anyway it was fun, but it is great to be home. And most importantly I think that Colorado is better off for having her native son return.
